Background

The Branded Items Group (BIG) is a small multi award-winning, family-owned promotional items and branded merchandise company that is BIG on quality, value and service.

Although only 3 years old, the business already services over 600 customers all over the UK with orders being made as far afield as Germany, Ireland and Scandinavia. With an emphasis on service and being consultative with clients, we are one of the fastest-growing promotional items companies in the UK.

The company is building a strong offline presence in our locality (North West) but now needs expertise to develop its online presence to compete in a very competitive environment.

Requirement

This project includes

A major structural update / facelift to the existing website.
Development of two smaller brand-new niche ecommerce websites.

We expect the project to commence no later than 24th May, and to be completed by July 15th.

Indicative Budget

This work will be part funded though the European Regional Development Fund.  The project falls within the £2,500 – £24,999 bracket and therefore, under current Public Procurement Regulations, there is no formal tender procedure but a detailed written quotation is required.

Evaluation Criteria

Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:

Cost  30 %

Clarity of proposal @ 20 %

Marketing / Added Value @ 20 %

Technical Understanding @  20%

Timescales @ 10   %

Proposals should clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirement set out above.
