THE SUPPLY, INSTALL AND COMMISSION OF A BALANCING MACHINE.

Background
Founded in 1972 Central Group is still a family owned business with a strong vision and values. The business has grown steadily. We have an established customer base in the utilities, chemicals, metals, paper, food & beverage, oil & gas and renewables markets and provide competitive, value for money solutions across all sectors.
The company is looking to undertake a significant capital investment project at its Knowsley premises to increase its already strong balancing section, with the procurement of a new horizontal balancing machine.
Requirement
The project has four distinct areas. You are able to bid for one or all lots.
(Lot 1)Procurement – Balancing machine indictive price ( 70K-90K)
A horizontal balancing machine with a capacity of between 2.3T to 2.5T. This requires the use of a balancing motor shafts, fans, pumps. It must come with associated electronic read out to and interface with Windows based systems. The supplied unit must come with commissioning and on site training for the staff
(Lot 2) Civils – Installation of balancing machine (5K-8K)
The installation of the balancing machine will require removal of the existing foundations. Including the strengthening of the fall to meet the balancing manufacturing specification. It will also the bolting down of the machine and levelling to the balancing machines specification
(Lot 3) Electrical – Installation of Balancing Machine – (3K-5K)
The disconnection of redundant cabling, running supply feeds from the existing supply board. Installing and terminating all required control and data cabling. Including all safety interlocking switches. This should also include all associated tray work and fixings. . To move and reposition cabling of re-positioned equipment in the work area. Test and certify all installed work should also included. Please note some of the work will be carried out above 2M in height.
(Lots 4) Safety Caging and Fencing. – (3k-5K)
Supply or manufacturing and install of safety gating to ensure that it meets safety regulations
It will be the Vendors responsibility to ensure that the full scope is understood and the work involved. Therefore due to the nature and the work area to be altered. We encourage a site visit to be carried out by all interested vendors.

Supplier must demonstrate they have the capability to deliver the requirement

1) This project is part of the Liverpool City Region High Growth Programme, and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. Under current Public Procurement Regulations there is no formal tender procedure, but a detailed written quotation is required

Please be aware that due to the relatively low indicative budget for this work (i.e. less than the current OJEU limits) there is no regulatory obligation for us to provide feedback if you are unsuccessful.
