Supply, Installation, Training And Support For a CNC Textile / Composite Cutting Machine At Our Premises, Unit 2 Newstet Road, L33 7TJ
Background
NJC Thermal Covers is a very busy company and trading in its current name for the last 11 years (but existed under another name prior to that) and at its current address for the last 15 years. During this time the company has gone from strength to strength and dealt with many new product developments within the industry. We have a very loyal client base due to our quality and knowledge of the industry we work in.
Requirement
Single ply cutting machine, capable of cutting composites ranging from 1mm to 25mm in thickness. Maximum width of materials to be cut is 1600mm, roll lengths are up to 50Mtrs long. Vacuum “holding / clamping” system which will facilitate the cutting of two thin layers of material, which are either porous or can be held in place with a covering layer of polythene.
Cutting tools to be rotating, reciprocating and also drag knife.
Deliverable Timescale
We expect the project to commence no later than mid-August 2022 and to be completed by end-October 2022
Indicative Budget
We expect the cost to be between £80,000 & £120,000

Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:
Cost 30%
Does supplier offer value for money.
Deliverability Within Specified Timescales 30%
Supplier must demonstrate they can deliver the requirement to timescales above
Meeting Specification Details 10%
Supplier must demonstrate all specifications met
Supplier Suitability 30%
Supplier must demonstrate they have the capability to deliver the requirement
Scoring Methodology
