Request for Quotation – St Helens Chamber ‘Insurance Services’ Membership Offer

Background
St Helens Chamber is a large Membership organisation with the highest proportion of local firms in Membership of any Chamber in the UK. We are committed to continually developing and improving our Membership offer to ensure local businesses receive the services they need. Services offered on advantageous terms to Chamber Members include, for example, HR support, Legal advice, and Legal Expenses Insurance, and discounted products and services form local Member firms including Chip and Pin Card Services.
Service Requirement
Insurance Services are essential in order to protect a business. We would like to offer Insurance Services to our Members, specifically Key Man Insurance but we are open to other suggestions.
St Helens Chamber will actively promote the existence of the Insurance Service to our members. If the service is taken up, the individual Chamber Member will be paying for the Insurance Services. No guarantees can be entered into on the number of Chamber Member firms taking up the Insurance Service.
Request for Proposal/Quotation
Please forward your proposal outlining:
- Insurance Services you propose to provide and approach to service quality
- The offer to Chamber Members, and how this differs from standard services/prices available from your organisation
- Testimonials (max 3)
- Your requirements of St Helens Chamber for promotion and any administration of the proposed Insurance service.
- The address from which you propose to deliver these services.
Evaluation Criteria & Weightings
The evaluation criteria used to assess all quotations received in response to this brief will be as follows:
Insurance services offering and quality
Advantage to Chamber Members
Quality of written testimonials
Cost and value for money (for Members)
Member of the Chamber
Supplier’s base location relative to St Helens
All quotations will be evaluated on the basis of the “most economically advantageous proposal”. The Chamber is not bound to accept the lowest priced (or indeed any) quotation.
