JAC Electrical Services UK Ltd is a family run business dealing with commercial customers. Servicing, installation and maintenance of their electrical systems and catering equipment.


JAC Electrical Services are looking for a consultancy firm to assist in the selection, specification and installation of a new hardware platform for our Business Management Systems.

The installation needs to be carried out to seamlessly integrate our 5 main specialist programs and to minimise the impact of the day to day running of our operation.

To integrate parts of our CRM system to allow client login for order progress.

  • Assistance with the selection of a suitable server with the capability of running our CRM system and integrating with our other main programs
  • Assistance with transferring all existing data with no data loss
  • To ensure the server is secure
  • To ensure minimal disruption to our day to day operation so a staged out of hours installation will be required
  • To ensure no disruption to our remote access mobile engineers.

Deliverable Timescale

We are planning to start the project at the beginning of September, with the intention of completing the project by the end of the year.

Indicative Budget

This work will be part funded though the European Regional Development Fund.  The project falls within the £2,500 – £24,999 bracket and therefore, under current Public Procurement Regulations, there is no formal tender procedure but a detailed written quotation is required.

Evaluation Criteria

Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:

30% Cost
30% Demonstrate skills and understanding of the industry sector
30% Understanding of the brief/ clarity of quotation
10 % Delivery time scales ease of communication

Scoring Methodology

4 Excellent – Proposal meets and in some places, exceeds the required standard
3 Good – Proposal meets required standard
2 Acceptable – Proposal meets the required standard in most respects, but is lacking or inconsistent in others
1 Poor – Proposal falls short of expected standard
0 Unacceptable – Completely or significantly fails to meet required standard or does not provide the relevant answer

Proposal Format

Proposals should clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirement set out above.

Deadline and Submission

Submissions for consideration are required by 1700 Hrs Friday 9th August 2019
