Background
Quantum Science Ltd is a ground-breaking British nanotechnology company. It focuses on innovating and developing advanced light-absorbing materials used for the machine vision and machine sensing markets. One of the company’s key innovations is quantum dot (QD) sensing technology, where it has robust patent protection. QS is a world leading infrared QD ink developer.
Requirement
QS is purchasing specialist reaction vessels to expand its facilities at Daresbury.
The vessels must be jacketed with temperature controls and have an overhead stirrer.

Deliverable Timescale
We expect the project to commence no later than 1st January 2023 and to be completed by 31st May 2023.
Indicative Budget
Tight cost control is essential for the project and costs are expected to be between £80,000 and £120,000 depending on the absolute specification and speed of delivery.
Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:
Cost 30%
Does supplier offer value for money.
Deliverability Within Specified Timescales 30%
Supplier must demonstrate they can deliver the requirement to timescales above
Meeting Specification Details 10%
Supplier must demonstrate all specifications met
Supplier Suitability 30%
Supplier must demonstrate they have the capability to deliver the requirement

Proposal meets, and in some places exceeds the required standard
3 Good
Proposal meets required standard
2 Acceptable
Proposal meets the required standard in most respects, but is lacking or inconsistent in others
1 Poor
Proposal falls short of expected standard

Completely or significantly fails to meet required standard or does not provide the relevant answer
