REQUEST FOR QUOTATION
Purchase of in line printer compatible with K61 Tuber
Please click here to view full RFQ
Background:
Peter Marsh & Sons Ltd is a long standing and respected supplier of printed paper sacks supplying into the UK food and Flour sectors as well as various other markets. The increased need for printed sacks suitable for use on automated packing lines and the reduction in pack size from 32kg to 25kg and now 16kg has meant that our existing machinery is becoming outdated. The company has purchased a new tubing machine to replace one of our old lines. The addition of a printer to this line would greatly enhance and improve our flexibility to meet our customers demands
Requirement:
The supply of a modern servo-controlled print press that can interface with the K61 Tuber for seamless pre-print capability. The printer must not slow the speed of the line down or compromise on the quality of the sacks being produced. It will need to cover our existing size capabilities and not reduce the capabilities of the K61 Tuber
Deliverable Timescale:
We expect the project to commence no later than December 2022 and to be completed by June 2023
Indicative Budget:
We expect the project to cost between £100,000 to £150,000
Evaluation Criteria:
