Background
Melavid have been trading since 1976 and have seen year on year growth. This we feel is a reflection of the quality of service we are able to offer. As civil engineers, Melavid specialise in all aspects of groundworks encompassing: –
Bulk Excavation & Site Clearance
Foundations & Slabs
Roads & Street Works
Drainage & Sewer Works
External Works & Services
Public Utility Sewer Connections (United Utilities and Welsh Water)
Plant Hire
Projects undertaken vary in value from £10k through to £ 3 million plus, predominantly on a “supply and fix” basis. However, we do also undertake contracts on a Labour / Plant only basis where required, flexibility being the key.
Our area of operation extends across the North West region including Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales and West Yorkshire.
The Company employs its own in-house Health and Safety advisor to ensure compliance with the strict industry regulations, further details of which can be found under the Health and safety section. Requirement – Our current website is very out of date, and does not show off the high level of our knowledge, experience and capabilities. A lot of our work comes from tender submissions, so being able to show off our portfolio of work is essential. We are in a very competitive market, so we need to stand out against our competition. We need to be seen as forward thinking and being able to provide the highest levels service.
We require a new website that features our services and the sectors in which we operate. We should be able to update our project portfolio and add new content. The website should be GDPR compliant and meet the IOC guidelines. We also need a secure download area where customers can access certificates.
We need an agency that has demonstrable capability of working with companies in our sector and can bring an innovative solution that can meet the strategic needs of our business. We will need clear guidelines on what content is required and how it should be written.
We are interested in seeing any ideas that will help us to stand out from our competition.
