Background
Moore Insulation is a Commercial & Industrial thermal insulation contractor based in Merseyside and have been trading for 30+ years.
Due to recent growth and strong order books, Moore Insulation hopes to increase investment in our production of sheet metal fabrications to fulfil our own project requirements and expand further to supply the thermal insulation industry with high quality fabrications across the UK. The investment required will increase productivity and enable us to obtain a larger market share of fabrications for the thermal insulation industry.
Requirement
We require a fully assembled, purpose built and compact; cut to length production line capable of cutting metal thicknesses of up to 1mm and an overall width of 1250mm MAX. The production line should include the following capabilities:-
1) Ability to hold at least 4 coils (min 1 tonne per coil) which can be used selectively without removing / re-feeding each coil.
2) Control panel to input required cut / slit measurements in metric (and imperial if possible) units.
3) To have a coil selector (to select which metal coil to use for cutting)
4) Ability to straighten metal sheeting using rollers, as it is fed into the production line.
5) Ability to automatically cut down the width (max 1250mm) of the sheet metal into required sizes using a guillotine.
6) Ability to automatically slit down the length of the sheet metal into required sizes – up to 6 blades required for slits down the length of the sheet metal.
7) Ability to roll the metal into casing, with the option to have swaged circumferential and longitudinal seams.
8) Suitable training for operatives to be provided by manufacturer.
