Request for Quotation: GMP Accreditation set up Background Ames Goldsmith in Kirkby is a producer of silver nitrate and silver oxide.
The business was purchased from Kodak in 2006.
At that time the business was just set up to make photograde silver nitrate in a continuous process.
We are currently reviewing our product range and looking to bring in new products.
We have customers who use our products in the pharma market – they would like our silver salts to be GMP certified.
Personnel – In total Ames Goldsmith UK and Ceimig (Dundee) employ 16 people.
Requirement:- We are looking for a service with the ability to manage GMP, to review our current set up, refine the data gaps and then set up the procedures and processes needed to ensure GMP compliance before supporting us with the GMP application and audits with MHRA.
Deliverable Timescale: Project needs to be complete by the end of Dec 2017.
Indicative Budget: The budget for this work must be less than £10k
Evaluation Criteria Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:
Quality/Technical Merit (40%) Will the proposal get our systems and procedures to the level needed fro GMP accreditation?
Design and Functional Characteristics (30%) Will the systems and procedures work within the Ames Goldsmith UK operation – will it be set up taking into account the type of production, product and size of the business.
Delivery Timescale (15%) Can the supplier meet the timescales/deadline?
Cost/Value for Money (15%) Is the price good value for money? This is not necessarily the cheapest option
Proposal Format: Proposals should clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirement set out above.
