Background
JW Products manufacturers tamper-evident seals and clinical waste ties from our purpose-built factory in Haydock, close to the Merseyside town of St Helens. We service the needs of major global brands through the supply of security products, such as Plastic Pull Tight tags, Metal Barrier Seals, Vehicle Tags, Security Tapes and Labels, Security Bags and printed Cable Ties.
JW Products require a solution to overprint on various seal lengths and widths.
Requirement.
JW Products require an automated machine to print the tag flag ends of a strip of 10 security tags using an automatic printer. The machine is to have manual loading and unloading of the tags and run at a minimum rate of 8,000 individual tags per hour. (20 tags every 8 seconds).
Deliverable Timescale
Machine would be needed within 12-14 weeks of an official purchase order.
Indicative Budget
Cost is essential for the project and costs are expected to be between £50,000 and £70,000.
Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:
Cost 40%
Does supplier offer value for money.
Deliverability With in Specified Timescales 10%
Supplier must demonstrate they can deliver the requirement to timescales above
Meeting Specification Details 30%
Supplier must demonstrate all specifications met
Supplier Suitability 20%
Supplier must demonstrate they have the capability to deliver the requirement
