Request for Quotation – E-Commerce Website – Power Gym Fitness, Liverpool
Please click here to view full RFQ document
Background
Power Gym Fitness is a specialist provider of fitness and gym equipment to gyms and health centres throughout the UK offering products that offer excellent quality, reliability and functionality.
Requirement
We require a new e-commerce website that will allow us to better organise and sell our product range online. We’ve been trading online for a number of years now but our current website is designed to handle a limited product range and is no longer sufficient for our requirements. The current website was developed in 2016 and in the last two years we have grown significantly. We are targeting high-value orders and as such our website needs to suitably impress any potential customers who visit it. In addition to demonstrating aesthetic and technical excellence the website will have to deliver the following:
– Effectively display our expanded product range
– Allow for unlimited product capacity
– Allow for online payment transactions
– Synchronisation between the e-commerce system and our inventory/account systems
– Be optimised for SEO for related product keywords
– Act as the central hub for all of our digital marketing and social media promotion
We also require guidance on how to optimise the website to achieve excellent search engine rankings. This will involve what type of content we should be producing on an ongoing basis and how we can build links to the site etc. This will need to take the form of a written strategy that our team can use on an internal basis.
Deliverable Timescale
We need the website as soon as possible, ideally by early September 2018.
Indicative Budget £15k+
Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:
Quality/ Technical Merit (50%) Supplier must demonstrate they have the technical and professional capability to deliver the requirement.
Delivery Timescale (20%) Supplier must demonstrate they can deliver the requirement to timescales above.
Cost/Value for money (30%) Does supplier offer value for money? This will not necessarily be the cheapest quote.
Scoring Methodology
4 Excellent – Proposal meets and in some places, exceeds the required standard
3 Good – Proposal meets required standard
2 Acceptable – Proposal meets the required standard in most respects, but is lacking or inconsistent in others
1 Poor – Proposal falls short of expected standard
0 Unacceptable – Completely or significantly fails to meet required standard or does not provide the relevant answer.
Proposal Format
Proposals should clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirement set out above.
