Overview:
Status Products specialises in the design and manufacture of unique products for the baby market, through our EasyTots brand. Based in St Helens, we supply throughout the UK and internationally, both directly to the public and via resellers. Founded in 2016, our vison is for EasyTots as a brand and the EasyMat products range to become well known UK household names and be regarded a ‘must have’ items for all parents.
We are strongly positioned in the UK market, growing in other European markets and further afield, and considering increasing our presence in the strongly competitive US market. We continue to introduce new product ranges, explore new routes to market and invest in our marketing activity, including social media, our e-commerce website and PPC advertising. We are aware, however, that we need to stay ahead of our competitors by continuing to invest in our brand and promotional activity, and to make sure that our digital marketing is integrated and consistent.
Requirements:
Consequently, we are looking to source specialist digital marketing advice and support, covering:
SEO Optimisation
Content creation and website updates
E-commerce Conversion Optimisation
E mail website automation workflows
We are looking for a company to support us across all our channels. We are happy with our website and may elements of our online marketing but need to make sure that all channels are complementary and that everything we do is focussed on converting to sales online.
We therefore have a requirement for a company that can demonstrate a track record of:
Driving e-commerce sales through multi-funnel campaigns.
Search Engine Marketing
Social Media Content Creation
Setting goals, and monitoring & reporting against targets
We are intending to award an initial contract for 6 months from May 2019, but would expect to see clear improvements in all of our metrics by month 3, leading to an increase in overall sales, and continuing progress regularly reported each month. Our main goal is to increase direct sales through website: currently we sell directly approximately 10% of what we sell on Amazon – we believe that the market for direct sales is obviously there, and want to increase direct sales to 40% of what we sell through Amazon.
Deliverable Timescale: Project to commence May 2019 for 6 months.
Estimated Budget:
The work will be part funded through the St. Helens Chamber (Business Growth Grant).
We estimate that the project falls within the £2, 500 – £24,999 bracket and therefore, under Public Procurement Regulations, there is no formal tender procedure, but a detailed written description, breakdown and quotation of services are required.
Evaluation Criteria:
Quotations will be evaluated upon the following criteria:
Cost (30%)
Understanding of the brief/clarity of quotation (30%)
Demonstrable skills and understanding of the industry sector (20%)
Delivery timescales (10%)
Ease of communication (10%)
Scoring Methodology:
4 = Excellent: Proposal meets and in some places exceeds the requirement standard.
3 = Good: Proposal meets required standard.
2 = Acceptable: Proposal meets the required standard in most respects, but not all.
1 = Poor: Proposal falls short of expected standard.
0 = Unacceptable: Completely or significantly fails to meet required standard.
Proposal Format: Proposals should clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirement set out above.
