Background
Vartiss Ltd are fabrication and engineering contractors based in Bromborough, Wirral. Established in 2016, the company provides services to key clients in petro-chemical, energy and nuclear and pharmaceutical sectors. Operating on projects across the UK, our engineers are involved in: • Pipe fabrication and installation • Tank repair and build • Bespoke engineering and fabrication projects • Site maintenance services Our current success is based on the core knowledge and competence of our management and engineers. Coupled with our customer focus and right-first-time attitude, we provide services with efficiency, reliability and professionalism.
Requirement
Vartiss Limited is looking to develop robust management systems to support current business activities and facilitate future growth. Based on our ambitious growth targets and the high expectations of our client-base, we require the management systems to achieve certification to ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and OHSAS18001:2007.
We are seeking consultancy support to develop, implement and maintain the integrated management system commensurate with these three standards.
In addition, we would like the system to be developed in a way which will facilitate a simple transition to the new ISO45001 standard when is it published.
We are interested in receiving quotes for the provision of this consultancy support, with content that clearly demonstrates how the assessement criteria detailed below will be met.
The scope of work must include the activities and costs associated with the selection of, liaison with and attendance of accredited certification bodies to conduct the third party audits necessary to achieve certification.
Deliverable Timescale
Commencing November 2017 – completion by May 2018
Indicative Budget Up to £10,000
Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be assessed and scored on the following criteria:
Competence and knowledge of consultancy company (40%)
• Can the consultant demonstrate adequate competence and knowledge of ISO management system standards and the certification process?
• Can the consultant demonstrate adequate competence and knowledge of the fabrication/engineering industry and all associated standards/legislative requirements?
Configuration, content and implementation of management system (30%)
• How will the system be developed and what will it contain?
• How will the consultant ensure the system is adequately implemented?
Delivery Timescale (15%)
• Can the consultant meet the timescales/deadline?
Cost/Value for Money (15%)
• Is the price good value for money?
