Requirements of the Brief:
We wish to build a brand-new web platform to host our new online resource, providing English plans to schools. Through this project we are planning for a company re-brand and therefore new overarching website which will have the capabilities to hold both products and be a platform for this and future stages of growth and support opportunities for further products linked to the National curriculum. The new web platform will be the key driver. It will be the landing page for all customers and will then direct to our existing maths website or to the new part of the website holding the English plans, which is a new service offering that will further accelerate our growth. The platform will be developed to allow for future growth of the company as we seek to add new services through additional subject areas such as Languages (French/Spanish) and the Sciences. We will also be considering the option for this to be utilised in other countries and this will also be a focus of the project.
We expect the key stages of the project to include:
- Re-branding of the new English site and holding site
- Full design
- Server and CMS setup
- Website development
- Testing and finally full deployment for live set up
