Overview
2U Food Ltd is one of the North West’s leading catering companies. We are based in the village of Rainford, Merseyside which is considered the heart of the North West and is surrounded by rich farmland from which much of our ingredients are sourced.
We operate across 3 main service areas; catering, food trucks/delivery and vending solutions. Each service we offer is tailored to the needs of our customers. We produce and retail most of our fresh food on a daily basis in house.
It all started back in 2006 when our founders and owners Paul and Dan Foster, a father and son team set up 2U Food Ltd. They wanted to provide a better and more unique catering service to customers in the Lancashire and Merseyside area. From day one, the business has revolved around providing good food made fresh with quality ingredients every day.
Requirements:
We are looking to develop an Epos system for the retail of food trucks integrating cash and credit card transactions across our fleet of 35 food trucks.
Alongside this, we are also looking at developing management information system to co-ordinate our production and replenishment system based on daily sales on a like for like basis.
The system needs to generate a range of reports to help analyse business performance
. Product Sales
. Zero sellers
. Out of stock report
. Waste report
Also, a system for generating production lists for food production with replenishment reports to be used within our warehouse to allocate stock to specific areas of the business.
The application developer is required to work with 2U Food Ltd to expand on the outline requirement above, design, develop, test, document and implement the software
2U Food Ltd also requires software support to include software fixes and necessary software maintenance as a minimum. Any functionality upgrades or modifications required after the app is developed are out of scope of this maintenance requirement.
