Lend Lease, who are constructing the North Wales Prison in Wrexham on behalf of the Ministry of Justice, during the construction phase, has committed to:
100 new apprenticeships
50% of the workforce recruited locally (within 50 miles/1 hour commute of the site)
500 work placements days per year
£30m to be spend on local businesses (within 50 miles/1 hour commute of the site)
£50m to be spent on small and medium enterprises.
