Description of services required:
The focus of the project is to enhance quality systems across our business to support its current and future growth. To achieve this will need to identify a specialist consultant who will work with our company to develop a Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2015, The system will need to meet the needs of our business and, when fully implemented, will enable our company to become certified to the ISO standard through a certification body accredited by the UK Accreditation Service.
We anticipate the consultancy support will focus on delivering the following:
• A comprehensive Gap Analysis of existing procedures and activities compared against the ISO 9001 requirements
• Drafting of a ‘Project Plan’ to identify the activities necessary to achieve registration, define time scales and list who is responsible for each task
• Drafting of manuals which define how we will address each section of ISO
• Drafting of the required procedures which cover the day to day operating systems
• Full implementation support
• Guidance on the choice of Assessment Body
• Internal auditor development and guidance
• Preliminary audit(s)
We are therefore looking to work with a consultant that has the experience and proven track record of working with businesses to successfully gain ISO 9001 accreditation.
