Description of services required:

Abbey England is a family business with wholesale and manufacturing divisions supplying raw materials into the equestrian and leather goods trades on a B2B basis.

We started an upgrade programme for our IT system covering accounts, stock control, purchasing and an update to its web-site system in 2017. The first phase of the work to implement MSDynamics NAV was due to complete in late 2017, but actually went live in July 2018.

Phase 2 developments need to be set up to fully give the benefit of an ERP system to the business;

  • Implementing bar coded stock locations for over 8000 SKU’s in the warehouse
  • Demand planning based on historical usage data and forecasts
  • Complete manufacturing order management system
  • CRM System implementation
  • Enhancements to the inventory and purchasing systems implemented in Phase 1
  • Implementation of Jet Reports Express
  • Enhancement to the Credit Control processes from Phase 1

    The work we need from an adviser is as follows:

• Confirm and detail the requirements for the second phase of the works in a document.
• Work with Abbey and the service provider to agree an implementation timescale
• Coordinate the work within the company
• Project manage the work with the service provider to ensure the project timescale is achieved.
• Implement a change control mechanism to ensure any changes to agreed requirements are formally signed off and any costs are agreed up front
• Escalate any issues putting the project at risk and agree mitigations with the relevant parties
• Prepare a monthly summary report for the Abbey board of Directors.

Submission Deadline: 5pm Friday 11th January
