Description of Service Required: We are specialists in ‘Print & Apply’ technology, selling automated barcode labelling systems for production and packaging lines. We have been established for 20 years becoming part of the Harland Systems Group in 2011. In 2016 we were sold out of the larger group, and we returned to owner/managed status. We have a strong established installed base with many of the country’s leading manufacturers. Our main service areas are:
- Systems (hardware to apply labels to packs, cases and pallets)
- Core (labels, ribbons, consumables & spares)
- Service (repairs, onsite, installation, commissioning)
Our management team have been involved in several initiatives to define our market offering, company direction and value propositions. Since leaving the Group we have created a new website and started on a Marketing Plan. However, this is currently making very slow progress, as we do not have all the skills necessary to produce the marketing collateral in the plan. We are looking for strong growth but we have recognized that to achieve this we will need to start to see a difference in 2017 and funds have been allocated for increased and improved marketing activity.
