Local Growth Hub Breakfast at Sensor City

Sensors have become a vital link between technological devices and the world around them, capable of capturing data on everything from our heart rates and footsteps through to opening opportunities to optimise regional manufacturing operations.

The Local Growth Hub, in association with MSIF, is inviting businesses from across the Liverpool City Region to join them at Sensor City to find out about the latest developments from within the newly launched global hub for sensor technologies.

Attendees will be able to find out how Sensor City, a landmark joint venture between the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University, provides support for Liverpool City Region businesses pushing the boundaries of sensor technologies and driving innovation and collaboration in the region and beyond.

Speakers will include:

  • George Wright, from MSIF, discussing how MSIF are supporting SMEs across the Liverpool City Region.
  • Alison Mitchell, Executive Director for Sensor City
  • Mark Basnett, Managing Director at the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership

The event will free to attend and will take place on Thursday 7th December 2017, 08:00am -09:30am.
