TuffX Processed Glass Ltd was a beneficiary of a previous grant fund delivered by St Helens Chamber, John Tierney, Director of TuffX Processed Glass Ltd said:
“TuffX received a capital grant to support growth plans at our factory in Knowsley back in 2015 which helped us immensely.

The grant fund was delivered by St Helens Chamber and once we had confirmed that we met the eligibility criteria, we found that the application process was very straight forward.  With some help from Knowsley Chamber, we submitted our application on 5 October 2014.

The project was completed on schedule over the winter and we subsequently created 34 new jobs as a direct result of the investment.  Through the hard work of our TuffX team, business growth has been spectacular – we have seen sales increase by almost 160% over the last 5 years and we now employ over 200 staff!”
