St Helens Chamber is proud to be the voice of business in St Helens and we are always keen to hear from you.
All Members have the opportunity to engage in our representation activity. Whether this is via a survey, formal consultation or attendance at one of our policy events, your input is crucial in influencing change to benefit business. As part of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) we have access to Numbers 10 and 11 Downing Street on a regular basis, so let us know what matters to you.
Quarterly Economic Survey
The Quarterly Economic Survey is one of the most important business surveys conducted in the UK. The data collected from Chamber Members is used by the Bank of England in monetary decisions. The survey is one of the most accurate indicators of economic trends and is extremely influential. As a Member you will be invited to take part every quarter and your responses are also used to prepare a St Helens report which influences policy at a local level.
Policy Events
The Chamber holds regular meetings to allow Members to have a direct dialogue with key influencers. This ranges from meetings with local MPs and St Helens Council to Government departments and senior politicians. Whilst the Chamber articulates business views on an ongoing basis, hearing it direct from business is often more powerful.
