Hairdressing and Barbering (Level 2 Standard) course content varies depending on which pathway you choose, but each will give you the skills and experience you need to either start a successful career in the industry or build your existing skill set.
A Hairdressing Apprenticeship is for anyone who is serious about a hairdressing or barbering career. No or little previous experience is required. There are options to suit individual needs and aspirations – and if you are already working in hairdressing, you could develop your skills to become a senior stylist.

- Perming, relaxing and hair extension services
- Cutting and styling hair
- Barbering techniques
Training will take place in the Chamber Hair & Beauty Academy in St Helens town centre, and in the workplace.
Students could progress onto the Advanced and Creative Hair Professional (Level 3 standard) to further enhance their knowledge.
