The AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting ensures that students are well prepared to progress into a career in business, finance or professional accountancy. Students will learn and master financial processes including accounting principles and concepts, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts, and more.
This qualification is suitable for those who are at a more intermediate level and looking to develop their skills in accounting, or for those who have already started working in finance and who have a need and desire to attain formal
recognition of their skills.
What will AAT Assistant Accountant (Level 3 Standard) Apprentices study?
This intermediate course will give Assistant Accountants the skills and knowledge they need to perform all aspects of their role effectively, and give them the tools they need to progress within an organisation.
Topics include:
- Effectively records and analyses financial data
- Communicating with stakeholders to aid decision
making - Understanding the transitional processes
- Recognising and using different Accounting approaches
- Identifies opportunities to actively engage in the wider business
Where will Apprenticeship training take place?
This will be a mixture of development in the workplace and knowledge workshops at our
premises in Liverpool & St Helens and via virtual learning platforms.
Progression Opportunities for AAT Assistant Accountant (Level 3 Standard) students
Students can continue their learning with a management Apprenticeship standard qualification or another related qualification too keep developing their skills.
