The Chamber's
New Deal Programme offers a range of options for 18-24year
olds.
Within the Voluntary and Environment Options, young people
work for upto 26 weeks in placement areas such as Information,
Communication and Technology, Construction, Conservation,
Retail and Care. During this time you will also receive
relevant training and support to help you to become ready
for a new job.
Some young people study full-time for a qualification,
for upto 52 weeks and during this time you will have placements
with companies which provide the practical experience
to complement your training.
