Our business start up team offers one-to-one, confidential and independent advice.
You will have the benefit of an experienced and dedicated business adviser working alongside you to develop your idea. They can really help to take the pressure off by guiding you to help you make a decision.
Your dedicated business adviser will work with you for the first three years to help ensure your business gets off to a flying start. They can also put you in touch with other organisations and specialists who can help you to achieve your goals.
We also offer free workshops to give you the skills needed to run your business. We can provide grants from £200 to £5,000 to help with your setting up costs.
We offer a flexible service to fit around your childcare needs. We can meet you at most times and at a venue to suit you. Women have the option to meet with a female adviser if they prefer.
We provide business mentors who can assist with issues like finding suitable premises, employing staff and raising finance. They have in-depth knowledge and understanding of issues faced by businesses.
Free accountancy support is also available for the first 12 months after start up and you can also receive Chamber Membership for a discount - enabling you to receive further benefits.
