Visit

St Helens has so much to offer that it is well worth a visit.

From glorious countryside to world famous sporting events - horse-racing at Haydock Park Racecourse and Super League rugby - St Helens has something for everyone.

If you like industrial heritage, there is the North West Museum of Transport where you can see a stunning display of vintage road vehicles. The area also boasts The World of Glass attraction which welcomes thousands of visitors each year - providing them with a unique insight into the importance of glass making for the global economy.

The town also has a vibrant events scene. This includes the newly refurbished Theatre Royal and the Citadel Arts Centre - voted by the Independent as one of the UK's top 10 jazz and blues venues.

St Helens is also home to the new iconic Dream statue - a 20 metre high sculpture created by the artist Jaume Plensa. The sculpture takes the form of a girl's head with her eyes closed. It sits on top of Sutton Manor, overlooking the M62 motorway.
